About Otto's
Dear Friends,
Otto's was first established on August 17, 2002 in Deal, New Jersey. It was a small hole in the wall bar that was known for cheap drinks, darts, popcorn, and a friendly atmosphere. It was more than a bar and business. It was where people came to celebrate the good times in life and come for support in the bad times. Some met their best friends there, while others ran into the love of their life. It was a special place and some of the best people in the world hung out there. Unfortunately, we out grew it and sold it because the bar was just too small.
The second and larger bar was opened on December 26, 2012 and was originally called Coach's Restaurant & Bar. However, after operating the business under that name for eighteen months we felt a change was necessary and changed the name back to Otto's. We continued as Otto's at this location on Highway 35 South in Oakhurst for six years in total. This second larger bar became known as a great party room for special occasions, a huge sports bar and family friendly place. The constant was that Otto's once again survived on the support of our regulars who chose to support small business over big franchise chains. In the end though the location and plaza was not very good and it became clear that this second bar was just too big.
Which brings us to our third and final location here in Cobblestone Village on West Park Avenue that was opened on February 14, 2019. This bar is just right in size and brings out the best of the first two locations. We are known for good drinks at fair prices and great pub food with once again the best regulars on the planet. Some of which have been with us since the first location. If you are one of those regulars please know we appreciate your business and friendship and want to say thank you for making Otto's your Neighborhood Tavern. If you are not a regular, please stop in and check us out and we are confident you will become a regular in no time at all. Otto's is the perfect gathering spot because you don't need a reason to celebrate. And why wouldn't you want to drink local.
